In 2009, Absolute Machine Tools acquired AccuteX EDM. AccuteX EDM was so successful that in 2011 the company purchased a 41,000 square foot facility opening a wire EDM technical center that includes its own research and development department. This facility is located on Innovation Drive in Mason, Ohio, next to FANUC America and Makino. AccuteX Wire EDMs are not new to the industry. They have been successfully installed in hundreds of shops across the United States for over 15 years prior.
