Unfortunately, this is us!nnIt's Mid-May and parts of the region are bracing for snownby WRGB STAFFMonday, May 13th 2019nnCapital Region, N.Y (WRGB) Higher terrain locations picked up snow yesterday, lightly coating the ground in some areas. Again they'll be looking at that chance for snow again tonight as we stay chilly and wet.nnThe steady rain from yesterday has ended leaving us with drizzle over the area and cloudy skies. The next batch of rain will build in this afternoon from the south and west.nnTonight the rain will change over to snow over the mountains so tomorrow morning we'll wake up to mixed showers.nnAccumulations tonight will be light, but we may end up with a coating to as much as a few inches over the Catskills, Adirondacks, and the higher peaks of Vermont.
