DEMOXIL CAPSULEnnAmoxicillin Trihydrate BPnnComposition : : Amoxycillin BP 250mg, 500mg Capsule.nnIndication : Urinary tract infections : nephritis, pyelonephritis, pyelitis, cystitis, gonorrhoea and non-gonococcal urethritis. Skin and soft tissue infections : cellulitis, wounds, carbuncles and furunculosis. Gastro-intestinal infections : enteric fever, ear, nose and throat infections, meningitis.nnDosage and administration :nnOral : Standard adult dosage : 250mg three times daily, increasing to 500mg three times daily for more severe infections. Children (2 to 10 years) : 125mg three times daily, increasing to 250mg three times daily for more severe infection. Infants (Up to 2 years) : 62.5 - 125mg three times daily or as directed by the physician. In case of severity the dosage may safely be increased. Sonnei (10%).nnDosage and administration : Adults : The recommended dose of T-cef is 400mg daily. This may be given as 200mg capsule every 12 hours. For the treatment of uncomplicated cervical/urethral gonococcal infections, a single oral dose of 400mg is recommended.Typhoid fever : Oral T-cef 5mg/kg 12 hourly for 14 days.
