HI Cova rose back again from another successful tuna trip. The boys from fish to fish had a great trip manging to land four nice tunas. The moon was up putting the fish down we marked plenty but all down around the 100m mark. It is great to see so many of these fish late in the season and I think they will be around for another couple of weeks. Hi all, just on our way back in from Pacific Invader's last Bluefin trip for the season and it has been another good one. The boys started off at the Ranfurly and got a good feed of Hapuka and Bass without to much trouble. They then went on to land 5 Bluefin over the next 2 days with the best one a very solid fish breaking the 100kg mark. A quick tally up has us sitting on a total of 70 Bluefin for the season. If this one is anything to go by next year should be another slammer. Cova Rose back from another very successful blue fin tuna trip. The boys caught nine fish over the three days fishing with a mixture of sizes. The bluefin are still around in good numbers which is great to see, and the fishery seems to get better and better each year so book now for the next season so you don’t miss out on these epic adventures. The showstopper for the trip was a massive 173.6 kg bluefin tuna and a pending world record on 37 kg line. This fish really gave Charles a workout doing some mind-blowing runs and TC did an excellent job on the leader a real team effort here. Hi all, just a quick report from Pacific Invaders latest Bluefin/ Ranfurly trip. The boys managed to land 4 Southern Bluefin with a 5th unlucky to pull the hook on the trace. They also got a good feed of Puka at the Ranfurly to top the trip off. Hi Cova Rose Here again from another fantastic southern tuna fishing trip . The boys from Pukekohe where spoilt with some great weather and even better fishing . They did two full days on the tuna managing to catch a total of nine fish . The high light was a six way hook up but unfortunately two became tangled and broke off however the other four where landed . The bluefin are still here in numbers so am looking forward to getting out there and back into the action again .
