Travertine like any natural stone is porous and needs to be sealed if you want to maintain its appearance. As a result, it is not something I would recommend for use in a shower cubicle such as this example at this property in Didsbury. nnThe sealer had long worn off leaving the stone vulnerable to stains from soap dyes and washed in dirt.
