And finally…🥁📢nBig Congratulations to Joey Gemini, our second grand prize winner!nnJoey and a team of 12 plus people from Georgia Tech created this rocket launch tower. The tower stands 30’ tall and can launch a rocket over 10,000’ into the air! nnThe main building material of the truss sections is 1” square hot rolled steel tube. This build took over 4 months of very detailed and precise work. The entire assembly has over five thousand individual components, but the tower only has sixty-seven distinct components.nnIncredible work, Joey and team!💪

📢Drum roll please🥁nBig Congratulations to Nigel Fennell, our first grand prize winner!nnThis piece is called "Maximus" - a deconstructed Spanish Andalusian muscular abstract, Gladiatorial Steel Stallion. nnMaximus was created using hundreds of horse shoeing steel lengths, cut to size, shaped and then welded on to a muscular cage made of flat bar, and the entire sculpture was galvanizedn.nMaximus was created in 470 hours, and is now on exhibition at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.nnAwesome job, Nigel 👏

Big Congratulations to our #MetalMyWay 'Vehicle' winner, Rob Lutz!🙌nnRob built his own plane in his garage over the course of 10 years! He used almost 100% 6061 T6 aluminum from Metal Supermarkets Nashville, as well as rivet squeezers and pullers, band saw, snips, homemade bending tools, drill bits, and more. The plane is now undergoing ground testing and should be airborne at the end of the year. Amazing work, Rob! nMore winners will be announced shortly, stay tuned.😊
