'AND THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS WAS MAGNIFIED.' (Acts 19: 17).nnThe truth is, you can only use the Name of Jesus effectively: nn(1). WHEN YOU ACKNOWLEDGE HIM AS YOUR SAVIOUR AND LORD.n(2). WHEN YOU HAVE AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.n(2). WHEN YOU STAND ON HIS WORD AND PRACTISE ITS PRINCIPLES IN YOUR EVERY DAY LIFE.nnWhen you do that, every time you use the name of Jesus, you're protected and indemnified by the authority that's in His name..nnYours talents and techniques won't get you through. You're going to stand on His Word and the Authority you carry in the Name of Jesus. That's when you discover it's "not by might nor...power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord.' (Zechariah 4: 6).

RECOGNIZING GOD'S VOICE. 'Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.' (1 Sam 3:9).nnDon't limit God, and try to figure Him out. He can speak to you through your Bible, through those qualified to teach His Word, through a song, through a painful situation, and through your thoughts and desires when you're submitted to Him. The key is to stay close to God and keep your receiver tuned.nn'If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.' (Job 36:11)..

AN EXHORTER: 'Strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith.' (Acts 14:22).nnAn exhorter has the ability to do three things:nn(1). CONFIRM: When they had preached the Gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in faith, and saying, 'We must through many tribulations enter the Kingdom of God." (Acts 14: 21-22). An exhorter is a pillar of strengh in difficult times. They know how to keep the tough get going, when the going gets tough. They threw a lifejacket of faith to the believers drowning in the sea of doubt.nn(2). CONSOLE: The gift of exhortation is demonstrated in its finest form. (Acts 16: 40). Paul and Silas had been falsely accused, beaten with rods and thrown into a dungeon with their hands and feet locked in stocks. When the church heard of this, they were deeply depressed. Remarkably when the two were released by the Mercy and POWER of God, they went to the church and offered CONSOLE to the Church..nn(3). CONFRONT: Paul took on the role of a peacemaker and confronted two prominent women in the Church when they couldn't get along with one another (Phil 4: 2-3).nHe was friendly, he was fair, but he was firm. AND WE MUST DO THE SAME AS EXHORTERS.nConfirm, Console and confront.
