Congratulations to the #NASADEVELOP Bhutan participants from the Southern Bhutan Ecological Forecasting III and Bhutan Water Resources III teams. They had the opportunity to present their summer project work to members from the U.S. State Department, NASA officials, and Bhutanese partners! The Southern Bhutan Ecological Forecasting III team focused on modeling Asian elephant habitat suitability to inform movement corridor placement, and the Bhutan Water Resources III team assessed trends in precipitation, spring green-up phenology, and temperature to inform climate mitigation practices. #CapacityBuilding #RemoteSensing
