Just received these photos from Paul who purchased a couple of Bridle Butts from us at the end of last year. He is a full time professional, but not in leather work believe it or not. Currently, leather work is just a part time hobby for him. We see big things ahead for this chap. Watch this space. #madeinengland #handmade

Although a lot of what we produce is for major designers and manufacturers, we also supply loads of smaller leather workers too. nnA new customer this month, Paul, purchased a couple of Bridle Butts from us and had a stab at making his own belts for family and friends. What a fantastic outcome for a first attempt. They look better made than any of the belts you'd find on the high street. (The jury is still out on the pink dog and bone though :))
Here is something to brighten this soggy Monday morning. Remember the Lagonda straps we were commissioned to produce and worked on with CB Leather? Here they are in action! #BestofBritish #MadeinBritain #MadeinEngland
I think we have just about finally recovered from our visit to Spoga Horse 2015 in Cologne. It was so fantastic to meet so many people from across the world. Thank you to all of you who came to say hello. We now have a plethora of samples and orders to fulfill, so it is back to work in a big way! This morning we have been finishing off an order of Aniline English Bridle leather, now ready to be used for luxury watch straps. We seal and dye the flesh to make them nice and smooth for use against the skin. We then feed the leather on both sides with a mixture of wax and oils to create a sumptuous shine, and to provide natural protection against the elements.nnWe can't wait to see the final product in the shops and peoples' wrists!
